Grup Blanquerna keeps Muñoz, seeks a bigger voice
Grup Blanquerna keeps Maria de Lluc Muñoz at its helm: a board elected on Sunday morning wants its ideas to carry more weight in political debate across the Balearic Islands. The board will lead the organisation for the coming years.
Josep Prohens, Maria Llabrés, Gemma Ferrer and Pau Emili Muñoz stay on the board. Biel Cursach, Maria Margalida Perelló, Pau Torres and Jordi Orell join them.
In a statement, the organisation said the new board wants Grup Blanquerna to become a leading forum for nationalist and progressive political thought in the Balearic Islands. It plans to hold discussions throughout the year rather than rely on one-off events, and to bring more of its ideas to the media and social networks. It says it will keep an open, plural approach to social, economic and cultural challenges.
