Mallorca hospital takes in biker after Ibiza hit-and-run

Mallorca’s Son Espases University Hospital takes in a 35-year-old Italian motorcyclist with a serious head injury after a crash in Eivissa, Ibiza, on Wednesday. His motorcycle collided with a car at the Rotonda de los Podencos roundabout at about 18.30. The car driver fled, according to the SAMU 061 emergency medical service.
The motorcyclist was in critical condition in intensive care on Wednesday night before his transfer, the island health authority says. He arrived at Son Espases at 23.48. No update on his condition after the transfer was given.
