Local Police in Eivissa, Ibiza, towed two vehicles during a road check on Wednesday and recorded 14 offences. The operation also returned two positive drug tests and uncovered two alcohol cases, one of them with criminal implications. Eivissa Town Hall said its Local Police carried out the checks.

Six of the reports concerned traffic breaches, while two related to breaches of the municipal by-law. Officers also reported one case of drug possession under Organic Law 4/2015 and one of unauthorised transport activity.

One alcohol case was dealt with as an administrative matter, while the other had criminal relevance.

In a linked intervention, Local Police worked with the Consell inspection service. They immobilised a vehicle on a public road after finding a breach of the law regulating vehicle entry.
