Ibiza Town parking: 1,148 spaces ready

In Ibiza Town, on Ibiza, work is complete on 1,148 parking spaces, while another 148 are being improved. The town council gave the figures on 28 September 2026. Mayor Rafa Triguero says the plan aims to give drivers free places to park away from the areas with the heaviest traffic.

Where the finished spaces are

The largest site is Sa Joveria-Cas Dominguets, with 940 spaces. Four smaller car parks are also finished and available: 33 spaces at Sa Llavanera, 103 on Avenida 8 d'Agost, 37 at Es Raspallar and 35 at Font i Quer.

The work includes marking spaces, improving the surface, planting trees for shade, providing spaces for people with reduced mobility and installing LED lighting.

What comes next

Work is under way on 48 spaces on Avenida Sant Jordi and 100 on Carrer Sa Punta. Once those are finished, work on another 302 spaces will remain. The full plan covers nearly 1,600 spaces across ten sites in Ibiza Town.

The town council is spending one million euros from the Balearic Government’s Sustainable Tourism Tax on the scheme. It is improving and organising plots that were previously run-down or little used.
