Mallorca crash causes 2.5 km queue on Inca motorway
A crash between a water lorry and a car has left one person injured and caused a 2.5 km queue on Mallorca’s motorway towards Inca.
The collision happened at about 11.30am on Friday at kilometre 12, in the direction of Inca. Emergency services attended the scene, according to Spain’s Directorate-General for Traffic and the Balearic Health Service.
The lorry driver was unhurt. The car driver was taken to a hospital in Palma, Mallorca; their condition is not yet known, although the injuries are initially not thought to be serious.
Traffic delays were still affecting the motorway during the afternoon between the Pont d’Inca exit and Santa Maria del Camí.
