Guests at seven tent Hotels in Mallorca can now order from nearby restaurants through Just Eat and eat in the hotels’ shared spaces. The delivery platform and tent Hotels, part of Fergus Group, announced the service, called tentlivery, on 8 September. It is designed to give guests a choice of local food beyond their rooms.

Meals beyond the hotel room

The hotels have fitted out their social areas with microwaves, plates, cutlery and recycling points for delivery orders. Guests can use those spaces to eat food ordered from local restaurants.

Tentlivery adds to the chain’s Bed & Unlimited Brunch model. It offers further lunch and dinner options without fixed dining times.

Dinner drives most orders

Just Eat says demand for delivered food at tent Hotels rose by 60% over the past year. Some 55% of orders are placed during the dinner period, with pizza, burgers and Chinese food among the most popular choices.

The service runs at nine tent Hotels in total: seven in Mallorca, one in Lloret de Mar in Girona and one in Torremolinos in Málaga. Orders are directed to restaurants close to each tourist destination.
