Balearic hospitality schools link up over local food

Local produce links hospitality schools across three regions: Balearic president Marga Prohens visits the Balearic Islands Hospitality School on Wednesday, 7 October, to learn about a project connecting schools in the islands, Catalonia and Occitania. The initiative promotes exchanges between the schools and joint food events.
The project, “Gastronomy and Tradition, Committed to Local Produce 2025–2027”, is part of the Pyrenees–Mediterranean Euroregion’s AMI Gastronomie programme. University of the Balearic Islands rector Jaume Carot and the school’s managing director, Maria Llompart, will welcome Prohens at 10.30am.
