Mallorca’s Ma-13 carries more than 16,720 vehicles a day between Sa Pobla and Alcúdia: Vox wants the dual carriageway completed along that stretch. The figure comes from Consell de Mallorca data cited in the party’s proposal. On Wednesday, 28 October, Vox said its Sa Pobla council spokesman, Roberto Vicente, would put the proposal before the town council on Thursday, 5 November.

The dual carriageway reached Sa Pobla in 2005, but the 10.7-kilometre stretch to Alcúdia remains unfinished. About 9.5 per cent of vehicles on that stretch are heavy vehicles, according to the figures Vox cites.

Vicente also points to crashes on the road. Vox cites motorcycle accidents in 2023 and a crash on 31 October 2024 that killed a 35-year-old woman and seriously injured two other people. On 27 April 2026, a three-vehicle collision at kilometre 46 left five people injured.

Vox wants the Consell de Mallorca and the Balearic government to make completing the road a priority. Its proposal calls for technical studies, plans, administrative work and funding provisions, while taking account of land-use and environmental requirements. The Sa Pobla council is due to consider it on 5 November.
