Mallorca motorcycle ITV costs €10.21 in 2026

A mandatory motorcycle vehicle inspection, known as the ITV, costs €10.21 in Mallorca in 2026. Consumer group Facua says that is the lowest price in its comparison of the 17 autonomous communities. The gap to the highest motorcycle rate reaches 294%, with the stations compared in the Madrid region averaging €40.22.

The quoted prices include VAT but exclude the €4.18 traffic charge applied to every inspection. Across the 17 communities, the average motorcycle ITV price is €24.28.

Mallorca also undercuts rivals on car tests

For petrol cars, Mallorca charges €17.01, again the lowest rate in Facua’s comparison. Menorca charges €30.92, reflecting the fact that ITV prices in the Balearics are set by each island council.

Diesel car inspections cost €30.92 in both Mallorca and Menorca. At the other end of the scale, Cantabria charges €57.80 for diesel cars, while Euskadi charges €55.28 for petrol vehicles.

Balearic rates remain unchanged

Facua says ITV tariffs have been frozen in the Balearics, one of six autonomous communities, along with Ceuta, where no rise was recorded. Average increases elsewhere were 2.5% for petrol cars, 2.3% for diesel cars and 4.4% for motorcycles.

Mallorca changed its ITV model in 2020. The Island Council now runs the service directly through Itevebasa.
