Mallorca adds eight overnight trains for All Saints’ Day
Mallorca is putting on eight overnight trains from 31 October into 1 November for All Saints’ Day, starting with a midnight departure from Palma to Manacor. Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca is running the special service for the first time. Trains will run in both directions on the Palma–Manacor, Palma–Sa Pobla and Palma–Inca routes, stopping at every intermediate station.
From Palma’s Intermodal Station, trains leave for Manacor at 00:00 and 03:00. Trains back from Manacor leave at 01:30 and 04:20. For Sa Pobla, a train leaves Palma at 01:30 and returns from Sa Pobla at 02:45. The Inca service leaves Palma at 04:30, with a train back from Inca at 05:10.
The Department of Housing, Territory and Mobility says the trains offer an alternative to driving as people travel to celebrations in different Mallorca towns. Full timetables are available at www.trensfm.com and www.tib.org.
