More parking, including 71 resident spaces

A car park at s'Aigua Dolça is due to open in 2027 with 71 spaces reserved for residents who hold subscriptions. Future car parks at Mediterrània and Progrés squares and on Metge Josep Darder street are still at the report and technical study stage.

SMAP also plans to expand the ORA parking zone and hire nine controllers. The draft budget puts income at €23.95 million and spending at €23.93 million, leaving a projected surplus of €20,718.04. More than €16 million of the planned spending is for staff.

BiciPalma plans 230 more electric bikes

BiciPalma's fourth expansion phase is also planned for 2027. It would add 23 stations and 230 electric bikes, extending the service to the Paseo Marítimo and Playa de Palma.

The budget provides for 12 new posts: eight BiciPalma officers, three mechanics and a control room operator. Recruitment is planned for 2027. A further €600,000 would replace outdated bikes with new electric models.
