36 police trainees to direct traffic in Eivissa

Eivissa, Ibiza: 36 trainee local police officers practise directing traffic at several points across the city from 12 to 16 October. Six instructors will accompany them during the morning sessions, the city council says.
The exercise is part of a course run by the Balearic School of Public Administration. The trainees also practise other subjects and rotate through several municipalities on Ibiza. Directing traffic gives them a chance to apply what they have learnt in real situations and see the demands and responsibilities of the job first-hand.
