Mallorca’s wine festival brings 58 island wineries to Palma, Mallorca, on Saturday: the free Raïm Wine Fest takes place in Parque del Mar and Ses Voltes. Its third edition runs from 12.00 to 01.00, with food and music alongside the wine. Palma City Council, which supports the event organised by Vi de la Terra Mallorca, announced the plans on Wednesday.

In Ses Voltes, five hour-long workshops pair wines made from local grape varieties with food by chefs, bakers and restaurant professionals. The sessions run from 12.00 to 19.00, followed by cocktails from 19.30. Restaurants, bakeries and food trucks will also offer dishes featuring local produce.

Music has two stages: one in front of Mallorca Cathedral and another in Ses Voltes. Vi de la Terra Mallorca president Mateu Morro says the festival gives winemakers a chance to explain their work and introduce wines from the island’s vineyards.
