Mallorca heavy rain floods road near Son Espases

Heavy rain leaves a road closed in Palma, Mallorca, on 19 October: Palma Local Police shut the flooded lower stretch of Camí dels Reis near Son Espases Hospital. Rain continues between Inca and Binissalem, where traffic is still moving slowly.
The rain has stopped across almost all the rest of the island. Traffic is moving freely on other roads, according to Spain’s Directorate-General for Traffic, though a two-kilometre queue remains on Palma’s Vía de Cintura ring road between Can Valero and Son Fusteret. The traffic authority has recorded no road accidents.
