Ibiza took the heaviest rain reported overnight. Sant Antoni de Portmany recorded 38.9 litres per square metre in one hour, while Sant Joan de Labritja recorded 36.2 litres per square metre. Aemet had initially placed Ibiza and Formentera under the higher orange warning, but lowered it to yellow in the morning.

More rain and thunderstorms are forecast. Ibiza and Formentera could receive 20 litres per square metre in an hour. Across the Balearic Islands, skies are expected to stay cloudy or overcast, with locally heavy or very heavy showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will change little or fall slightly, with light to moderate winds from the east and north-east.
