Sa Pobla property owners could get facade grants in 2027

Property owners in Sa Pobla, Mallorca, could get grants to improve their building fronts in 2027: the local People’s Party (PP) plans to bring the proposal to the next council meeting. The party announced the move on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. No grants have been approved yet.

The proposal calls for a dedicated sum in the council’s 2027 budget. The council would also need to set out who could apply, how much they could receive and the deadlines.

PP spokesperson Pedrona Seguí says the grants would help owners maintain their buildings. The party also hopes the work would improve the streets and help preserve Sa Pobla’s architectural heritage. The next step is for the council to consider the proposal.
