Six years sought over sexual abuse in Mallorca’s s’Illot

A man is due in court at 10am on Monday over the alleged sexual abuse of a woman on the terrace of a building in s’Illot, Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, Mallorca.
The Second Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands will hear the case. Prosecutors are seeking a six-year prison sentence and 15,000 euros in compensation.
According to the prosecution, the alleged offence took place in the early hours of 11 July 2019. It says the woman verbally objected and physically resisted. The prosecution says she has since suffered anxiety and an anxiety-depressive disorder.
