Palma, Mallorca, gets five food routes from 4 to 8 November as 42 restaurants take part in TaPalma Mallorca-2026. That is eight more restaurants than last year. Before the routes begin, 18 of them will compete at the Congress Palace on 2 November.

The routes will run through different parts of the city. Palma City Council says it wants the event to support local restaurants and draw attention to the food on offer in Palma and across Mallorca.

Palma’s mayor, Jaime Martínez, says the rise in entries shows growing interest in TaPalma and the strength of the city’s restaurant trade. Pilar Amate, the island councillor for Economic Promotion and Local Development, calls the event a showcase for local produce. Every tapa, she says, draws on the work of people who choose its ingredients and prepare it.
