Mallorca's Sineu mayor Tomeu Mulet seeks third term

In Sineu, Mallorca, Mayor Tomeu Mulet is seeking a third term after eight years in office. He will stand for the People’s Party (PP) in the May 2027 local election, the party said on 6 October 2026.
Mulet says he wants to keep working for local people. He describes his two terms as a mix of good times and difficult ones. The council has made changes to the town’s infrastructure and services under his leadership, though the party names no specific projects.
He says that work is a starting point rather than a finish line. Mulet believes he has a strong team for the next election, but says Sineu still faces challenges.
