Ibiza traffic stop logs 14 notices, tows two cars
Police in Eivissa, Ibiza, issued 14 notices during a road-safety check on Wednesday and had two vehicles towed away. The operation also found positive drug tests and an alcohol result with criminal implications. Eivissa Town Council said the Local Police carried out the check.
Officers recorded six traffic breaches and two breaches of the municipal bylaw. They also issued one notice for possessing narcotic substances and another over unauthorised work in the transport trade.
One alcohol result led to administrative action, while another had criminal relevance. Two drug detection tests came back positive.
In a separate intervention with the inspection service of the Island Council of Ibiza, police immobilised a vehicle on a public road. Officers found it had breached the law regulating vehicle entry.
