Mallorca’s proposed vehicle law moves to seven MPs: the Balearic Parliament names them on Wednesday, 21 October, to examine the draft. The group sits within the parliament’s Committee on Territorial Planning, Housing, Mobility, Sea and Water Cycle, the parliament says.

The seven are Margalida Pocoví and Rafel Nadal of the People’s Party, Teresa Suárez of the Socialist Party of the Balearic Islands, Ferran Rosa of MÉS per Mallorca, Patricia de las Heras of Vox, Llorenç Córdoba of the Mixed Group and Agustín Buades, who is not attached to a parliamentary group.

The Mallorca Island Council approved the draft before sending it to parliament. On 9 September, parliament agreed to consider it with support from every political group except Vox, which abstained.

The committee must now examine the text. Once that work is complete, the proposed law can return to the full parliament for a vote.
