Ariany Weather

Today's weather in Ariany
Currently it's sunny with 35.1°C, feeling like 35.2°C — clear air and a light breeze around 10.8 km/h provide a bit of movement. The temperature in Ariany is therefore well above the morning minimum of 23.9°C; daytime values are around 33.9°C, with only a 1% chance of precipitation.
During the day it stays dry and bright, the sun is strong, so midday shade is welcome. Occasional gusts bring some refreshment; otherwise clear conditions prevail, ideal for relaxed outdoor activities. If you'll be out for a while, take plenty to drink and plan for a shady spot; the heat is persistent but not oppressively humid.

Climate in Ariany — the quiet inland climate of the eastern Plà
Ariany is one of Mallorca's smallest municipalities, situated in the eastern part of the island's central plain at an elevation of 115 meters, between Petra to the north and Santa Margalida to the east. Its location defines its weather: no mountains nearby, no direct sea-breeze effect — Ariany experiences the extremes of a Mediterranean inland climate in their purest form.
In summer, that means heat above all. July daytime highs run around 31°C according to aggregator climate data; during heat waves, which occasionally sweep across the Plà de Mallorca in midsummer, considerably higher readings can occur. July is the driest month of the year, averaging only around 9 mm of precipitation — the Mediterranean summer drought pattern at its most pronounced. Annual precipitation is estimated at around 450 mm, similar to the AEMET figure for Palma (449 mm). November brings the most rainfall, at around 79 mm.
Autumn is Ariany's most dynamic season: after the dry summer, Mediterranean low-pressure systems can deliver heavy rain and occasional thunderstorms. These rains are critical for the region's agriculture.
Winter is mild but cooler than on the coast. The daily average in January sits around 11°C. Nights in the interior can cool down sharply, as the thermal buffering effect of the sea is absent; frost is rare but possible. The village itself has no natural high ground to shield it from cold air — unlike the mountain villages of the Tramuntana, which are often protected from northerly winds.
For peaceful off-the-beaten-track exploration, cycling through the agricultural landscape of the Plà, or hiking to the nearby ridges, May and October offer the most comfortable conditions. More on Mallorca's weather patterns can be found at Mallorca Climate Chart and in the article on Mallorca Fall Weather.
Note on data sources: Ariany has no dedicated AEMET climate normal station. Climate figures come from T3-Aggregator sources for the Plà de Mallorca. The AEMET reference is station B228 Palma (1981–2010). Figures for Ariany are indicative values.
