Sineu Weather

Today's weather in Sineu
Sunny and warm: the current temperature in Sineu is 28.1 °C, feeling like about 30 °C, with hardly any measurable precipitation. Clear skies and a light wind around 9.4 km/h create pleasant conditions in the town centre. Today's high will be around 34 °C and the low around 24.6 °C, with only a 3% chance of rain.
Through the day it stays steadily sunny and the heat increases, especially at midday when the sun feels stronger; later it will ease off a bit. If you're out and about, take water and plan for shady breaks; the breeze helps but provides little real cooling. Overall Sineu presents a bright, dry day with good visibility for walks through the village.
Perfect for the Wednesday market
The famous Wednesday market has ideal conditions today — the livestock market in particular is authentic and worth a visit. A stroll through the lanes to the church Nostra Senyora dels Àngels or to the remains of the royal palace fits well into the plan; going early avoids the worst of the heat. Sineu today is thus perfect for a market visit and a village walk.
Tomorrow the sun continues, with temperatures up to 35.8 °C.

Climate in Sineu — the island's heartland and its weather
Sineu is considered one of the most central places in Mallorca — not only because of its historical significance as a former royal seat, but also geographically. Its position at the heart of the island, at 134 meters above sea level with no particular proximity to any coastline, makes Sineu the reference point for the inland climate of the Plà de Mallorca.
In summer, the inland climate reveals its most intense side. Daytime highs in July sit at around 31°C according to aggregator climate data; with no sea breeze to take the edge off the midday heat, temperatures feel more oppressive here than in Palma or along the coast. July is also the driest month, averaging around 9 mm of precipitation. Annual rainfall totals around 450 mm, close to the AEMET figure for Palma (449 mm). November is the peak month for autumn rain, bringing roughly 79 mm on average.
Spring is a rewarding time in Sineu: temperatures climb gradually, rain is possible but infrequent, and conditions stay largely settled. The renowned Wednesday market — one of the most important on the island — takes place outdoors in fine weather, and April and May are ideal for it.
Winters are mild but cooler than on the coast. The daily average in January sits at around 11°C. Nights cool off more noticeably than in Palma, since the thermal buffering effect of the sea does not reach this far inland. Frost is rare, but more likely on the open plain than along the coast.

Note on data sources: Sineu has no dedicated AEMET climate normal station. Climate values are drawn from T3-Aggregator sources for the Plà de Mallorca. AEMET reference: B228 Palma (1981–2010, 449 mm). All figures are indicative.
