A 2027 art fair in Palma, Mallorca, gets a push in Cologne: 16 Balearic galleries are showing 18 works at Art Cologne 2026. Their shared stand is open from Thursday, 5 November, until Sunday. The display aims to promote Art Cologne Palma, scheduled for 1 to 4 April 2027 at the Palma Congress Centre, as well as Balearic culture.

The stand brings together work by 17 artists linked to the islands, including Rafa Forteza, Julià Panadès, Rafel Bestard, Bernardí Roig, Olmo Sardo and Joan Cortés. Visitors can see paintings, works on paper, ceramics and sculptures. Galleries Reus, Barón and Pelaires also have their own stands at the fair. This is the second consecutive year that Art Palma Contemporani, an association of contemporary art galleries in Palma, has taken part.

Balearic secretary for Culture and Sport Pedro Vidal travelled to Cologne for the opening. He and Llorenç Galmés, president of the Council of Mallorca, met Gerald Böse, chairman and chief executive of the fair operator Koelnmesse, before visiting the Balearic galleries’ stands.
