Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, has a new round of arts grants: applicants get 15 working days to apply from the day after the call’s publication on Tuesday, 27 October. The Balearic Institute of Cultural Industries issued the call, according to the Balearic government’s Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport. The notice appeared in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands.

The grants cover six areas: performing arts, music, visual arts, publishing, podcasts and cultural programmes. They aim to support creativity, professional development and the visibility of cultural work across Mallorca, Menorca, Eivissa and Formentera. Audiovisual projects are not included; a separate funding scheme for them opened in September.

Applications must be made through the Balearic government’s online portal. Most projects awarded a grant have until 30 September 2027 to be completed. Publishing projects have until 30 June 2028.
