Three Balearic publishers bring their books to Valencia: the Plaça del Llibre fair opens on Thursday, 22 October, and runs until Sunday, 25 October 2026. Disset Edició, Dolmen Editorial and Llentrisca Edicions will sell books at a stand run by the Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics.

The Balearic Islands government’s institute selected the publishers through an open call. It will sell its own books at the stand too. The fair brings together Catalan-language writers and publishers, with family activities, talks, book presentations, round tables and signings on the programme.

On Sunday, the government’s institute will stage Polsim de dol on the fair’s main stage at 11.00. The poetry-and-music performance combines work by Antònia Vicens, Blai Bonet and Josep Maria Llompart with original material by Ölivias and Joan Rotger Julià. It forms part of the programme marking Blai Bonet Year.
