Mallorca theatre: 85-year-old stars in ghost station play

Santanyí, Mallorca, gets one performance of Chamberí on Saturday at 19.30. At the Teatro Principal, 85-year-old actor Milagros Morón plays a woman trapped in a Madrid metro ghost station. Dancer and singer Cristina Montalvo, 40, plays the young woman she meets.
The play is set in the station in the 1960s, but Montalvo’s character is dressed in the style of 1870. Their conversation draws them together, with personal confessions and popular songs forming part of the show, according to producer La Velmon Producciones. David Vélez wrote and directed Chamberí. Tickets cost eight euros.
