More than 50 years on stage end for Mallorca’s children’s group Cucorba in Vilafranca de Bonany, Mallorca, on Sunday 25 October. Its farewell show, “Au, idò...”, closes the Children’s and Youth Theatre Fair (FIET). The fair has drawn more than 16,000 people since Wednesday, organisers say.

Cucorba performs songs from its final album, also called “Au, idò...”, live at the fair. The group has worked with FIET for more than two decades. The closing event also features “Principi i Final”, a travelling show by Xaranga Myotragus.

This year’s fair put on around 40 shows, with more than 2,000 people attending school performances. It began a day earlier than usual and moved to the fourth weekend of October. Organisers also expanded the programme for children aged 0 to 6 and young people aged 12 and over.
