What the grant covers

Successful applicants receive a prepaid card, either on their phone or as a physical card, to use at participating businesses and organisations. There are currently 4,159 taking part across Spain.

The grant sets aside up to €200 for live arts, audiovisual activities, cultural heritage and art-making materials. Up to €100 can go towards physical products such as books, magazines, video games and records, and another €100 towards digital products such as subscriptions, e-books and online news. Alternatively, recipients can put the full €400 towards one of three categories: cultural courses and workshops, musical instruments, or art-making supplies.

How to apply

Applicants must identify themselves through Cl@ve or with a digital certificate. They can apply themselves or have an adult do it for them; an adult representative must attach a form signed by the young person.

Once approved, recipients have one year to spend the balance with participating businesses and organisations.
