Palma Jazz Festival concert by El Combo Batanga cancelled
Palma City Council has cancelled El Combo Batanga’s Palma Jazz Festival concert in Palma, Mallorca, scheduled for Thursday, 20 August 2026, because rain and thunderstorms are forecast.
The decision follows the activation of an orange weather warning for rain and storms in southern Mallorca and the municipal territorial plan’s alert phase. Palma is expecting thunderstorms, heavy rain and possible strong wind gusts.
The concert had sold out, according to Palma Cultura. Ticket holders will receive refunds through the platform where they bought their tickets.
The Culture Department said the safety of the audience, artists and the wider event team was its priority.
