New shows for Mallorca audiences

The Balearic Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport says the programme includes four world premieres, six shows making their Spanish debut and 23 being staged for the first time in the Balearic Islands. Mallorca audiences can be among the first to see Sembrar by Moviments and the family opera Museu enCantat by Diabulus in Musica.

Companies from Denmark and Brazil are also bringing shows to Spain for the first time. The fair includes 15 shows from Balearic companies, as well as SO by France’s Lagunarte for very young children and Melón pelado by Galicia’s ButacaZero for teenagers.

A final farewell from Cucorba

Aboon Teatro opens the fair on 21 October with Porta’m a casa. Mallorca children’s entertainment group Cucorba will close it with its final farewell to the Vilafranca audience.

This year’s fair takes place a week later than in previous editions and lasts an extra day.
