From jazz to a 16-show finale

On Thursday, Es Gremi hosts music in all three of its rooms. Its evening programme moves between jazz, pop, electronic music and fusion.

On Friday, Spiritual Music plays at the Church of Sant Francesc at 16.00. At 17.15, Es Gremi’s Euroregió stage brings together performers including Maria Antònia Roses, Barrut and Ölivias. Saturday ends at Motorworld Mallorca, with 16 shows across three stages and music ranging from garage and rock and roll to pop, traditional music and electronic music.

Talks run alongside the concerts

Each morning, Ca n’Oleo hosts meetings for artists and music industry professionals. The opening sessions focus on jazz and improvised music, including studies of jazz in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. On Wednesday at 16.30, the venue also presents Illes de Cultura, a catalogue intended to promote cultural exchange between Mallorca, Menorca, Eivissa and Formentera.

Later discussions turn to new sources of income, the influence of platforms and algorithms, and the role of live music. Friday’s talks include Mediterranean musical cooperation; Saturday’s look at international careers and artificial intelligence.
