Mallorca free culture fills Inca squares until 25 September

Free culture takes over public squares in Inca, Mallorca, from Friday until 25 September. Circus, open-air cinema, theatre and music are all on the bill, with no admission charge. Inca Town Council has put together the Setembre, cultura al carrer programme.

The run opens at 19.00 on Friday at Plaça d'Espanya in Inca with Sembrar, a contemporary circus show by Cia. Moviments. At 20.30 the following day, Plaça des Blanquer becomes an open-air cinema for Mary Anning y la playa de los dinosaurios.

On Friday 11 September, Orquestrina Vulpini sets off at 18.00 on a street parade from Plaça de Santa Maria la Major to Plaça de Sa Quartera. Circ Bover will stage its Bambúrcirc workshop and Bambújocs there at the same time. The outdoor cinema returns to Plaça des Blanquer at 20.30 on Saturday 12 September with Okgràciesadeu.

A new link with the Ciclop festival brings its Ciclop Territori programme to Inca as part of an effort to take the festival to other Mallorca municipalities. On Saturday 19 September, Irish theatre production L'animal més perillós del món starts at 12.00 in Plaça de la Mare de Déu de Lluc. Catalan artist Pere Hosta follows at 13.00 in Plaça de Sa Quartera with Open Door.

That day ends at 20.00 with Irish group Dee Armstrong & Sons in concert at the Claustre de Sant Domingo. The programme closes on 25 September at 19.00, when Water Falls is performed in Plaça de Santa Maria la Major.
