Mallorca gospel fundraiser makes Menorca debut in Maó

Responsible for this content: Frank Menze

A gospel fundraiser already established on Mallorca comes to Maó, Menorca, for the first time on Saturday: two choirs sing at Santa Maria church to raise money for Projecte Home Balears’ treatment centre on the island.

The BonsTons, led by Albert Vidal, and Palma Gospels Singers, led by Rafel Fiol, will perform without a fee. Their programme mixes traditional gospel songs with contemporary arrangements.

Projecte Home Balears says the money will support its prevention, treatment and social reintegration programmes on Menorca. It has centres in Maó and Ciutadella. The charity says events like this help it give more support to people and families during recovery.
