Mallorca library day brings circus and games to Calvià
Circus acts, games and workshops fill the Santa Ponça Galatzó library in Calvià, Mallorca, on Saturday: its Library Day programme runs from 10.00 to 14.00 in the Galatzó development. Calvià Town Council announced the family event on Friday as part of an October programme across the municipality’s seven libraries.
Children can make badges, try a ‘rasca mágico’ scratch-art workshop and play recycled games, including a carousel. There are also traditional games, activities for babies aged zero to two, face painting and a storytelling workshop called ‘El llibre de les històries’.
From 11.00 to 14.00, Els germans Katiuska perform a circus show and run a juggling workshop. Users of the social organisation Esment created the illustrations for the event posters.
