Open House Palma needs volunteers for November

Open House Palma is recruiting volunteers for its architecture festival in Palma, Mallorca, from 9 to 15 November. No knowledge of architecture is needed. Applicants must be over 16, enthusiastic about architecture and complete the online form on the festival website.

Registration opened on Monday, 14 September. Volunteers will lead visitors through buildings, manage queues and provide practical festival information, with most duties falling between 13 and 15 November.

New accessibility and coordination roles

The sixth Open House Palma festival adds two volunteer roles. Accessibility volunteers will accompany groups from social organisations and groups with disabilities on guided visits.

A coordination team will support pre-festival visits with volunteers and help prepare for the event in the preceding weeks. Four different shifts are available, depending on each volunteer's availability.

Priority building access and UIB credit

Volunteers will receive priority entry to all buildings during the festival. They will also be invited to an exclusive prize event and receive a merchandise pack containing a cloth bag, notebook and pen.

Students at the University of the Balearic Islands can earn a credit for volunteering.
