Cala Figuera painters’ gathering ends with exhibition
Cala Figuera, in Santanyí, hosted a painters’ gathering over the weekend, with artists working around the fishing harbour to capture its light, landscapes and distinctive corners on canvas.
The event concluded on Sunday afternoon with diplomas presented to all participants and a collective exhibition of works produced during the weekend.
Painting outdoors around the harbour
Residents and visitors were able to watch the artists at work outdoors. Participants used a range of techniques and styles while portraying different views of Cala Figuera.
Works shown in collective display
The closing exhibition brought together paintings created during the gathering. It offered visitors varied artistic interpretations of Cala Figuera.
