Pitxorines to play Neorama Festival in Granada

Mallorca group Pitxorines will perform at the Neorama Festival in Granada, Spain, from 3 to 5 September 2026. The event, organised by Juventudes Musicales de España to mark its 75th anniversary, will stage music across more than 15 historic locations in the city.

Pitxorines is listed for concerts at Plaza de los Aljibes in the Alhambra complex and at Plaza de las Pasiegas, near Granada Cathedral. Admission to all Neorama 2026 events is free until capacity is reached, but advance booking through the festival website is required.

Pitxorines on two Granada stages

At Plaza de los Aljibes, Pitxorines will share the bill with Liceu Blam Collective from Catalonia, Alana from Galicia and Perímetro from Melilla. The Alhambra area will also host professional discussions, workshops and round tables on equality, inclusion, artificial intelligence and education.

Plaza de las Pasiegas will feature Pitxorines alongside Perímetro, Big Band Musikene, the Young Symphony Orchestra of the Valencian Community and Liceu Blam Collective. Big Band Musikene and the Valencian youth orchestra will also perform at Granada Conference Centre.

Opening and closing concerts

The festival opens on Thursday 3 September at the Teatro del Generalife, where the JM World Orchestra will perform with the Granada Opera Choir. The closing event on Saturday 5 September will be the inclusive SuperArte concert, featuring musicians from Fundación SIFU with the Young Symphony Orchestra of Granada.

Other venues include Palacio de los Córdova, Corral del Carbón, Carmen de los Porcel, the Patio de Venus at Fundación Rodríguez-Acosta and the Patio del Ayuntamiento de Granada. The festival will also extend to Motril and Paulenca, in Guadix.
