Mallorca: Rels B plays free Palma concert on 11 September

Rels B plays a free open-air concert in Palma on 11 September, taking over the stretch between Parc de la Mar and the Paseo Marítimo at 21.30. The Mallorca singer performs the night before receiving one of the island’s highest honours.

Daniel Heredia, who performs as Rels B, announced the show on social media. Entry is free until the venue reaches capacity, and he has invited the neighbouring islands to join the celebration.

Music for the Diada de Mallorca

The Consell de Mallorca is organising the concert as part of the Diada de Mallorca. Island president Llorenç Galmés said the aim is to take the celebration onto the streets through culture and music.

On 12 September, the council will name Heredia Hijo Predilecto de Mallorca, a distinction meaning Favourite Son of Mallorca. It is among the top honours awarded by the Consell de Mallorca.

A homecoming after stadium shows

The award follows a standout year for the artist. During his A New Star World Tour, Rels B drew tens of thousands to Son Moix in Palma for his first stadium concert in Spain.

He finished the tour in July with the biggest concert of his career at Madrid’s Metropolitano stadium.
