Mallorca and the rest of the Balearic Islands: 6,815 people have applied for Spain’s €400 youth culture voucher between 1 January and 31 October 2026. Young people can use the money for cultural products, services and activities over 12 months. The figures come from the National Statistics Institute and were shared by Spain’s Ministry of Culture.

Across Spain, 374,131 young people applied. That is 66.6% of the estimated number born in 2008 — roughly two in three.

The voucher sets aside €200 for live arts, cultural heritage and audiovisual arts, €100 for physical cultural products and €100 for digital or online purchases. There is another option: applicants can put the full €400 towards one category — cultural courses and workshops, musical instruments, or creative and art materials.
